Sanibel Island, FL

Don’t laugh- I’ve turned us into bird watchers!  We end up going to a lot of places where we are the only semi-young- non retired people there and the JN Darling National Refuge was no exception.  But I’m telling you bird watching in Florida is kinda fun because there are so many birds here!   We saw a lot of white pelicans, sandpipers and a roseate spoonbill (all the rage here) and other birds that I can’t identify.  It’s cool- there are volunteers all around the park with telescopes so you can see the birds up close.  I know my naturalist friends would appreciate this. : )
