For some reason we went to the Louisville Slugger baseball factory and museum. I think it was the only thing open when we got to downtown. We took our tour and saw how a baseball bat is made. Oh yah- randomly they have a portrait of Jennifer Lawrence made of peanuts at this place. She’s from Louisville- they’re proud of her. Do you know where this city gets its name? Well we ended up walking by a statue of a French king and did a double take- why is there a statue of this guy here and then we read the inscription: Louis the 16th supported the Americans in the Revolutionary War. OK I see…props to the French.
