BRUNEAU SAND DUNES

We happened to be here for the lunar eclipse so that night we sat on top of a dune waiting for the moonrise.  It was interesting but not all that spectacular.  Copper moon…OK. The next day we went sandboarding which is a lot more slow-going than doing it on snow because there are no lifts. The effort to pleasure ratio was out of balance.  That night we climbed up the tallest dune there around sunset.  It took about 30 minutes to get to the top and then 5 minutes to slide down on our butts!
