WALMART and SEQUOIA

We were trying to make it all the way to Lodgepole Campground in Sequoia for our first night. But… we were both falling asleep so we spent the night at a Walmart parking lot in Tulare- an agricultural town near Sequoia. I mention that it’s an agricultural town because we woke up to the smell of cows.  After we finally arrived in Sequoia, we were so pooped that all we did was eat cup ramen and Korean snacks that we normally wouldn’t indulge in at home.  Then we collected our own firewood and then made a fire for Korean BBQ and kimchee. Oh yes- there was also General Sherman’s tree- the 2,200 year old tree.
